What if the books you read this summer could completely change how you think about voting, power, and our democracy?
This summer, Fair Fight Action is launching our first-ever Summer Reading List, brought to you by the Fair Fight Book Club!
We’re reading three books that break down what is really happening behind the scenes of our elections.
Our Summer Reading List
Minority Rule by Ari Berman
One Person, No Vote by Dr. Carol Anderson
Ratf**ked by David Daley
For the next several weeks, we’ll be going live on Substack with the authors of our Summer Reading List books to hear more, ask questions, and dig deeper into the history behind the current attacks on voting rights and elections, how it’s all shaping the future of America.
Each book looks at power from a different angle, from voter suppression and gerrymandering to the systems that allow a small group of people to have a huge influence over our democracy – and by extension, the majority of Americans’ lives.
Some of it may surprise you. Some of it may frustrate you. But all of it will give us plenty to talk about, and trust us, we plan to talk about it!
Save the Dates:
Minority Rule with Ari Berman – Today, July 23 at 1:30 PM ET
One Person, No Vote with Dr. Carol Anderson – Monday, August 3 at 11:30 AM ET

You don’t have to be a political expert, or even someone who reads all the time to join us – just come ready for the conversation.
We’ll see you at the book club!
In solidarity,
Fair Fight Action Team
Looking forward to it.
